The Galaxy S3 is officially released on May 29th, but the wait is decidedly long for thousands of people. And it’s not just future customers who are impatient, but also developers. After the flash and rotate of the Galaxy S3, here is that the first custom ROM has just appeared on the web. Obviously, we couldn’t miss this event, and we share it with you.

We decline any responsibility in case of brick or loss of data from your phone. Even if the operation is simple and extremely rare, there is no such thing as zero risk.

It should also be borne in mind that phone flickering is a reason for voiding the warranty (even though there have been few cases in practice).

The first operation consists in recovering the :

Once you have downloaded the ROM, you must copy the .zip file to the sdcard. Then turn off your Galaxy S3 and restart it in recovery mode. To do this, press the Volume Up, Home and Power buttons at the same time.

You will find yourself in a menu, which is very “Windows console”. To navigate this menu, simply use the Volume button. To validate the option, simply press the Power button. Then select the option wipe/factory reset, then wipe dalvik cache in the “advanced menu”.

Then select the option ” Install zip from sdcard “, then ” choose zip from sdcard “. Then choose the file you have just downloaded.

Once the operation is complete, all you have to do is reboot the Galaxy S3 using the “reboot system now” option. The first custom ROM is now installed on your Galaxy S3, very easily and in a few moments.
